    It kind of depends. If you’re going to say that the world is black and white, “free” and “not free”, then anything short of anarchy is “not free” because someone will put out rules about buying and selling.

    In the real world, people recognize that at least some rules to prevent fraud and sales of harmful goods can be useful and that “free trade” doesn’t have to mean literally, absolutely, totally free.
