Today Bakeries Products (Klang) Sdn Bhd wishes to apologize for the inconvenience and confusion that has occurred regarding Halal certification for Sweetie products lately.
Please be advised that Today Bakeries Products (Klang) Sdn Bhd holds a Halal certificate holder since 1998. During this time, we ensure that our company's ingredients and process of food handling are in compliance with the Malaysian Halal Certification Manual.
Halal Certificate Today Bakeries Products (Klang) Sdn Bhd which has been suspended by the Halal Hub Division, JAKIM on 13 August 2015 is due to a violation of the Malaysian Halal Certification Manual, but is NOT due to the use of illegal raw materials.
However, based on the recent letter from the Halal Hub Division, JAKIM (Reference: JAKIM.900-10 / 3) dated 19 October 2015 , the Monitoring and Enforcement Branch, Halal Hub Division, JAKIM has decided to return the Malaysian Halal Certification Certificate (SPHM ) after being satisfied with all corrective actions taken by our factory . The company's Halal Certification Certificate returned is the Halal Certification Certificate (Serial No.: A22413, A22414, 30397 ). The products are Sweetie Little Bun Koko, Pandan Kaya, Red Beans, Bunie Sandwic .
To further strengthen the ongoing compliance with halal certification requirements, we have been directed by Halal Hub Division, JAKIM to develop Halal Assurance Management System (Halal Assurance Management System) as our own company's commitment to ensure that Halal certification requirements are complied with. We assure our company that the ingredients and process of our food handling process will continue to comply with Malaysia's Halal Certification Manual.
