Sunshine Agro Products Ltd. Uganda was founded in 2007 as a social enterprise and has been engaged in contract farming in ten districts in North East Uganda. The aim of the company is to promote agro export oriented growth and sustainable food production in Uganda. The company now works with over 5,000 contract farmers, producing chilli, cocoa, pulses, herbs and exotic fruits and has greatly contributed to improving the livelihoods of a large number of rural producer families. The company contributes directly to rural development and fits within the development objectives of the Government of Uganda. the company welcomes international volunteers to support its agricultural development programs.
