蘇菲·珊曼妮,(born February 12, 1972 in Stockholm) 是瑞典歌手和歌曲寫手，第一張唱片名為《Always You》，出品于1995年。 她1972年生于斯德哥爾摩的郊區(qū)，當(dāng)時名字叫Sophie Edkvist。14歲的時候，她的父親帶回一把吉他回家，讓她學(xué)習(xí)。盡管沒有經(jīng)受正規(guī)音樂訓(xùn)練，但是她仍然堅持演唱和寫歌。她在當(dāng)?shù)貜男′浺羰忆浿屏藰訋?，寄給三家唱片公司，Sony Music 瑞典分公司看中了她，為她錄制了第一盤專輯。

己錄制的小樣寄給各家唱片公司。索尼公司第一個給了她答復(fù)，并且把她介紹給曾和Ulf Lundell 與Bo Kaspers Orkester合作過的創(chuàng)作人兼吉他手Lars Halapi。在與Zelmani的合作中，Halapi負(fù)責(zé)編曲，他把Van Morrison風(fēng)格融入到她的新專輯中，這也許是他最出色的地方。不過詞作者都是Zelmani，她的柔和清澈的嗓音給人一種甜而不膩的感覺。1995年冬天，專輯打入流行榜單第四名，不久便在瑞典和日本大賣。

Zelmani開始了在歐洲的宣傳演唱會，隨后又去了美國。Precious Burden于1998年發(fā)行，贏得了非常好的口碑。前兩張專輯由Halapi錄音并且負(fù)責(zé)制作和演奏大部分樂器。但是后來，她組了一個樂隊,仍舊由Halapi負(fù)責(zé)制作，她還參與創(chuàng)作了其中的一首歌。直到1999年Time to Kill發(fā)行。
