Thermal insulation hydrophobic expanded perlite for liquefied natural gas carrier, with resistance of acid and alkali and stable chemical characteristic, is in glass particulate form. It is made of perlite ore with moderate gradation in size, through pretreatment in proper temperature, toast in high temperature, and special hydrophobic treatment.
Because we adopt unique film mulching technology in low pressure and high temperature, it has good whole hydrophobic property. Even if the perlite particle is broken, this property would not be influenced. It is more durable compared to other hydrophobic products.
It particularly meets the need of thermal insulation under ultra cryogenic condition such as LNG/LPG carrier and large cryogenic liquid tank.
