    麥角甾醇

    　　一種重要的植物甾醇 (見甾族化合物)，為萜類化合物。分子式C28H44O。存在于酵母和麥角中 。白色片狀或針狀晶體 。熔點 168℃ (含1.5摩爾水的結(jié)晶） ，沸點250℃ (0.01毫米汞柱)，比旋光度－135° (氯仿，C＝1.2)。溶于苯和氯仿。麥角甾醇經(jīng)紫外線照射，發(fā)生一系列變化，生成維生素D2；麥角甾醇的衍生物22，23 -二氫麥角甾醇，經(jīng)紫外線照射后轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)榫S生素D4。
