    外貿(mào)英語(yǔ)往來(lái)信件,包括傳真,電郵,信函等,是當(dāng)今國(guó)際貿(mào)易交流中的主要載體,其主要目的就是為了傳遞商務(wù)信息。因此合格的英語(yǔ)往來(lái)信件必須是以簡(jiǎn)潔的語(yǔ)言、明晰的結(jié)構(gòu)來(lái)表述完整的內(nèi)容,同時(shí),最好還要可以體現(xiàn)出成熟的業(yè)務(wù)思維。

      一筆定單的開(kāi)始往往始于出口商主動(dòng)向潛在客戶發(fā)信建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系,而這個(gè)建立關(guān)系的開(kāi)發(fā)函的內(nèi)容,個(gè)人認(rèn)為可以包括如下內(nèi)容:

      第一: 說(shuō)明客戶信息來(lái)源,即如何取得對(duì)方的資料。

      作為貿(mào)易商,個(gè)人SOHO者,可以通過(guò)駐外使館商務(wù)參贊處、商會(huì)、商務(wù)辦事處、銀行、第三家公司的介紹,或者在企業(yè)名錄、各種傳媒廣告、網(wǎng)絡(luò)上尋得客戶資料;也可以在交易會(huì)、展覽會(huì)上結(jié)識(shí);甚至是在進(jìn)行市場(chǎng)調(diào)查時(shí)獲悉。

      因此我們可以如下方式來(lái)表明客戶信息的來(lái)源:

      1) We learned from the Commercial Counselor's Office of our Embassy in your country that you are interested in Chinese handicraft.

      2) Mr.Bowins, Head of Arcolite Electric AG has recommended you to us as a leading importer in Korea of lightweight batteries for vehicles.

      3) We have obtained your name and address from the Internet.

      4) Our market survey showed that you are the largest importer of cases and bags in Egypt.

      當(dāng)然還有很多的英文表達(dá)方式,我就不一一列出來(lái)了,反正大家只要知道就行。

      第二: 言明去函目的

      一般來(lái)說(shuō),我們給客戶寫(xiě)信,總是以開(kāi)發(fā)業(yè)務(wù),建立市場(chǎng),拓寬產(chǎn)品銷路為目的。所以我們可以有如下的表達(dá)方式:

      1) In order to expand our products into South America, we are writing to you to seek cooperate possibilities.

      2) We are writing to you to establish long-term trade relations with you.

      3) We wish to express our desire to enter into business relationship with you.

      第三:本公司概述

      我這里所說(shuō)的本公司介紹,包括對(duì)公司性質(zhì)、業(yè)務(wù)范圍、宗旨等基本情況的介紹,以及對(duì)公司某些相對(duì)優(yōu)勢(shì)的介紹,比如:經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富、供貨渠道穩(wěn)定、有廣泛的銷售網(wǎng)等。我們可以用英文如下表達(dá):

      1) We are a leading company with many years' experience in machinery export business.

      2) We enjoy a good reputation internationally in the circle of textile.

      3) We have our principle as "Clients' needs come first".

      4) A credible sales network has been set up and we have our regular clients from over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

      5) Located in Shanghai, we take the advantage to set up our solidified production basis in coasted and inland areas.

      第四:產(chǎn)品介紹

      這一部分最重要,一定花心思去寫(xiě)。如果我們已經(jīng)知道客戶有明確的需求,比如需要某某服裝,那么我們會(huì)選取某某服裝進(jìn)行具體的推薦性介紹,反正就是針對(duì)客戶需求的特定介紹;如果我們只拿到客戶的名片,不太清楚客戶的需求,那么我們就把公司經(jīng)營(yíng)產(chǎn)品的整體情況,如質(zhì)量標(biāo)準(zhǔn),價(jià)格水平,打樣速度、交貨速度等作為籠統(tǒng)的介紹。

      當(dāng)然附上目錄,CATALOGUE,報(bào)價(jià)單或者另寄樣品供客戶選擇也是經(jīng)常采取的做法。

      1) Art.No.102 is our newly launched one with superb quality,fashionable design,and competitive price.

      2) We have a good variety of colors and sizes to meet with different needs.

      3) Our products are enjoying popularity in Asian markets

      4) To give you a general idea of our products,we are enclosing our catalogue for your reference.

      第五:激勵(lì)性結(jié)尾

      一般我們?cè)陂_(kāi)發(fā)信的末尾會(huì)寫(xiě)上一兩句希望對(duì)方給與回應(yīng)或者勸客戶立刻采取行動(dòng)的語(yǔ)句。

      1) Your comments on our products or any information on your market demand will be really appreciated.

      2) We are looking forward to your specific inquiries.

      最后:任何可以打動(dòng)客戶的特殊東西都可以隨信而發(fā)或者隨樣品而寄。

      比如你在展覽會(huì)上和客戶拍的合照,可以隨信而發(fā),既可以提醒客戶你是誰(shuí),讓客戶一下子就記住你,也可以更加表達(dá)你和客戶的友好關(guān)系。

      比如客戶平常隨意說(shuō)出的某張一直在尋找的CD或者DVD,或者客戶一直在找的一本書(shū)等等,你可以隨著寄樣品時(shí)一起寄出,讓客戶知道你一直關(guān)心著他們,你的SERVICE一直是最優(yōu)秀的,你會(huì)在做生意的過(guò)程中關(guān)注任何需要注意的地方,會(huì)讓客戶更加放心你的做事態(tài)度。
