Short introducing of Snowtex
We are a largest garments manufacturer and exporter company in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since 2002 we have been doing business in this work apparel industry. At 1st we started our business as a buying house and then gradually we set up our own 2 factories. From our buying house we source only for our own factories and we prefer to do work with buyers directly. All our existing buyers are direct. We export ready made garments mainly to USA and Canada.We are very expert in producing various types of work wear, safety wear, hunter wear, jackets, overalls, coveralls, Softshell jacket, other padded jackets, bottoms, shorts etc.
Now we have 2 factories, 700 machines and 2,000 work force. Recently our 1st factory Snowtex Apparels Ltd audit for BSCI and it has scored 88.62% of that audit. We have also Oeko -Text certificate (certificate no: 11-34909). We are working to build up our 3rd factory which name is Snowtex Outerwear Ltd. Our third factory will be a LEED certified (Platinum graded) Green factory. It will be fully compliant factory. We already registered our 3rd factory at USGBC (United States Green Building Society). Our plan is to make a 8 storied building with an underground, each floor will be approximately 50,000 Sft, total 4,00,000Sft. In this size of the space we have plans to make 48 production lines using 3600 machines and 7,500 work force. It is now on under construction. We are assuming in March of 2014 we could start at least 12 production lines.
