We have had much success this past season in the handling of the live lobster to Shanghi (PVG), Beijing (PEK), and Hong Kong (HKG).
Live to Shanghi, we have used AA/DL/CI/CX and UPS.
Service via AA was routed as follows:

Service via DL was routed as follows:
MIA or FLL/via DTW/PVG..ETD/FLL or MIA: 0800 AM...ETA/DTW: 1140 AM.. same day connection from DTW/PVG: 3:45 PM...ETA/PVG: 19:00+1
Service via UPS was routed as follows:
MIA/SDF/ANC/PVG...UPS was the only carrier that had an early arrival to PVG.
Cut time at UPS/MIA is: 5:00 PM...ETD/MIA: 10:00 PM...ETA/SDF: 0045AM
Departs SDF/0330 AM to ANC. ETA/ANC: 6:30 am...then ETD/ANC:0830 AM
to arrive PVG: 11:00 AM local time PVG.
Service to Hong Kong via CX (Cathay Pacific):
Their route is: MIA/IAH/ANC/HKG...arrival to HKG...18-22 hours travel time.+/-
The flight usually departs MIAMI at: 08:00 and arrives HKG at: approx. 21:00 the following night...
Service to Beijing via AA...
The routing to PEK (Beijing) via AA, provided the best // fastest service.
