Our firm got its start producing "uchiwa" hand fans, which are traditional Japanese fans. We originally crafted and wholesaled the items for use at souvenir shops in tourist destinations. Just ten years later, what had been something manually made at home in a cottage industry transitioned to an item that could be mass produced through machine automation. This change caused the uchiwa to shift from a souvenir to an item used for advertising purposes -- its surface could be decorated with emblems and messages. It was at this time that our company as it is today began to take shape.
Today, we are a manufacturer of a range of craft goods used as prizes and novelties, presents, and as a medium for advertising.
We produce hand fans and calendars, as well as handle some processing steps for the creation of towels, stationery, and kitchen implements. One of our unique traits is that we have not followed the global trend for offshore manufacturing, instead opting to produce many products here on Japanese shores. With the exception of certain legally-prohibited items, we can produce most items you desire in Japan.
As a manufacturing company, we are used by many clients for subcontracted or OEM work, so you will not see our products at public trade fairs or in awards shows. This is deliberate and is part of our founding goal of supporting customers from the sidelines -- if you have a craftsmanship problem, we have a solution, and our aim is to back you up to achieve success. We are unseen and out of sight, supporting a range of clients everywhere.
