Acopagro is an organization of small producters of cocoa with specialists, located in the central Huallaga valley, San Martin region, Peru, with around 1800 members.
Cocoa Acopagro Agricultural cooperative, is established as the first exporter of special cocoa beans in Peru, his work on quality, quantity and constant innovation, positioning him as a peasant-class organization technical work area expansion productivity improvement quality and social inclusion, makes our union's first alternative development.
Currently, our entire crop is certified organic (cocoa beans and coconut) and chocolate companies our clients are very prestigious in Europe and the United States.
A few years ago that we are in the system Fairtrade (FLO) that an alternative to conventional trade and is based on cooperation between producers and consumers. Fairtrade offers producers a fairer and more profitable trading conditions. This allows them to improve their incomes and living conditions.
