MATSUBARA KIKO CO., LTD. was founded in eastern Osaka in 1965 as a trading firm specializing in producer goods such as machine tools and equipment. Since then, we have been doing business with a large number of manufacturing firms, such the many Japanese manufacturing plants clustered in eastern Osaka, and the many automotive, aerospace, and machine tools manufacturers that have grown up in Aichi and Gifu Prefectures in central Japan. We hope to support Japan's superior manufacturing techniques and serve manufacturers around the world as well.
What sets our company apart is the wide range of products at our command. We carry more than 250,000 items, and we take advantage of that wealth of information, enabling us to provide precise suggestions to meet the diversifying needs of our customers. For machine tools in particular, we excel at totally balanced plans for the three main elements of machining: machinery, tools, and lubricants. Furthermore, because of our many customers in aerospace manufacturing, we carry a variety of specialist tools, such as tools calibrated in inches.
We will continue to strive to build and maintain win-win relationships within the trinity of our customers, our company, and manufacturers.
Corporate philosophy: We seek the to provide for the well-being of all company employees while treating customers with care, and to contribute to the progress and development of society and mankind. Furthermore, we also aim to exist with the environment and build a recycling society.
Local information: In the local festival known as the "Naked Festival", based on a traditional belief that if you are able to touch the naoinin-a man selected by prayer and drawing lots to bear away misfortune (also called the kami-otoko, or "Sacred Man")-you will be able to escape bad luck, a spectacle unfolds of thousands of naked men hurling themselves against one another in the scrum. The character based on this festival is called Inappy.
